The 20th annual Crown Royal presents the “Your Hero’s Name Here” 400 at the Brickyard will take place Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the 20th of 36 events in the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

American Star Spies Staying In MotoGP In 2013 With New Ducati Team
Spies, from Longview, Texas, will pair with Moto2 race winner Andrea Iannone of Italy in the new team, created to accelerate development of Ducati’s MotoGP factory race motorcycle. Spies and Iannone are expected to race next season on the same specification of GP13 bike as Ducati Team factory riders Nicky Hayden and Andrea Dovizioso.

I was surprised that Penske Racing didn’t appear to impose any kind of team orders near the finish of last weekend’s GoPro IndyCar Grand Prix of Sonoma. With Ryan Briscoe leading the race and championship leader Will Power running second late in the race, swapping places in an attempt to boost Power’s points lead seemed like a no-brainer.
